Synthworks
Compositions for synthesizers
Around 1997-2000 I made some compositions for synthezisers.
The equipment I used:
Ensoniq TS10 synthesizer
Roland JV 1080 Sound module
Emu Proformance Piano module
Lexicon LXP 5 sound processing module
Mackie 1202 12-channel mixer
Kawai MAV-8 Midi patch bay
The Atari ST computer with Emagic Notator software stood at the base.

Third Kind Suite
The theme that plays a role throughout the piece is the theme that Steven Spielberg used in his movie 'Close encounters of the third kind' to try to contact the aliens.
This is the 5 note theme: d - e - c - low c - g.
The TS10 Ensoniq synthesizer has the major part.

Action
Short piece with a chilling drive, some evident JV1080 sounds are there..

Aimer AM
This piece is somewhat more 'popular' in approach, with a relative simple chord scheme in the beginning and a singable melody.

African
There are some percussion and rythm elements that sound 'african', that's why this title is chosen.

Spheres
Athmospherical piece with repetitive echo aspect in the theme, in the middle part a rather classical string part.

Deuxmille (unfinished)
This piece was set up with the orchestral instruments in mind, not so much as a synthesizer sounding piece. It ends unexpectedly, at a point where I did not know how to continue, and I never continued..
